Yul Edochie Has Stopped Supporting His Children, Claims Lawyer
In a recent development, lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye has alleged that Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has ceased providing for his children with his estranged wife, May.
Ugwuonye made these claims in an Instagram post, stating that Edochie directed his children to rely on May for their needs, asserting that she now earns more than he does. Ugwuonye criticized Edochie’s decision to enter into a polygamous relationship while neglecting his financial responsibilities.
“Yul is not supporting his children as we speak. He is not at all. Yul told his daughter that their mother is making more money than him now,” Ugwuonye stated. “Can you imagine? So now you are going into polygamy and you cannot take care of the children? You want to try polygamy? So please do not compare the two.”
Ugwuonye further highlighted the legal implications of Edochie’s actions, noting that attempting to marry a second wife while still legally married to May constitutes a crime under the Marriage Act.
