Youth group urge Saraki to join Presidential race, picks up nomination form
A group of young professionals and business persons have purchased the N40m expression of interest and nomination forms for former Senate President Bukola Saraki, to vie for the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 general election.
The group members led by Abubakar DanMusa were at the party’s national secretariat to purchase the forms.
They said their intention was backed by the need for a candidate who would prioritise the interest of the youths.
The group proceeded to Saraki’s residence in Maitama, Abuja for the official hand over of the forms.
DanMusa who later spoke to Journalists said that the current state of affairs around the country also inspired their decision to urge Dr Bukola Saraki to run for the Presidency of the nation.
