Worrying times for the Ajimobi Family as Ex-Gov battles Covid19 related health challenges
The former Governor of Oyo State, Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi has been reported to be in very critical condition after he allegedly contracted Covid19.
It is believed he may have contracted the virus along with his wife and it is believed his two sons in law may also have tested positive for Covid19.
There was a video circulating on social media a couple of weeks ago showing him in a jolly mood with his family enjoying a meal just after lockdown was lifted.
He is said to be presently undergoing treatment for the disease at a cardiology specialist hospital in Lagos and is even believed to have undergone surgery around 5 days ago. The hospital with state of the art facilities is one of the few private hospitals approved by Lagos State government to manage corona virus patients.
Sources believe that Senator Ajimobi is presently on a ventilator and his condition is critical.
Our hearts are with the entire Ajimobi family and we pray for a quick recovery for all members of the family affected by the virus.
It is on record that the former Governor had in his goodwill message to Seyi Makinde who had also at some point contracted the virus stated that “Covid-19 is not a death sentence.”
