“We’ll Soon Start Formal Registration Into the Obidient Movement” – Tanko Yunusa

The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement Worldwide, Yunusa Tanko, announced that a formal registration process for the movement’s members will soon commence. Tanko made the announcement during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Monday.

Tanko revealed that the movement is aiming to establish a structured format for identifying its members. “In the coming months, we will announce the start of formal registration. We want to know who you are and what you do,” he stated.

Appointed recently by Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Tanko emphasized that the Obidient Movement is centered around the principles of good governance championed by Obi. He clarified that anyone who supports these values naturally aligns with the movement, which seeks to attract individuals capable of formal engagement.

While acknowledging that many current members hail from the Labour Party, Tanko stressed that the movement is not limited to any single party. He described the Obidient Movement as a platform for advocating good governance, citizen engagement, national unity, fairness, and respect on the global stage.

When asked to compare the Obidient Movement with the Kwankwasiyya movement, Tanko asserted that the Obidient Movement enjoys broader acceptance. He also mentioned that discussions are underway to determine any associated membership fees.

For further details on the registration process and membership, Tanko urged interested individuals to stay tuned for official announcements.
