Wabara’s Purported Suspension: PDP Group Expels Abia Chairman, Accuses Him of Impersonation

A faction within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), known as the Frontiers for Change and Progress, has expelled Abia State PDP chairman Abraham Amah, accusing him of impersonation. The group also dismissed Amah’s recent suspension of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT) chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara, calling it a “big joke.”

Speaking in Umuahia on Tuesday, the group’s national coordinator and former ASOPADEC commissioner, Emeka Yellow Ikpegbu, argued that Amah lacks the constitutional authority to suspend Wabara.
