Twitter Ban: Presidency and not President behind ban – Hon Agbakpa
Honourable Ben Rowland Agbakpa a member of the House of Representatives from the Ethiope Federal Constituency has come out to say that the Presidency is a lot different from Mr President.
He made this known, while speaking on “The Osasu Show” a syndicated TV show, focused on development, business and politics in Nigeria and the UK.
The show is anchored by Osasu Igbinedion the daughter of former Edo State Governor, Lucky Igbinedion.
In relation the the recent Twitter ban, Osasu had asked Hon Agbakpa: “Why do we keep shifting the buck from the table of the President?”
She further asked “Why would you say it is not the President, does the Minister of Information and Culture have the right to send out such fiat policy and ban social media?”
In response, Hon Agbakpa stated that “We have the Presidency and we have the President, most times when the Presidency is speaking that is Garba Shehu speaking.”
