Trump Warns Iran: Make Peace or Face Further Bomb Strikes
President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Iran, stating that if the country fails to pursue peace, the United States is prepared to launch further military strikes against additional targets. In a national address delivered Saturday night, Trump referred to Iran as “the bully of the Middle East” and insisted that the path to peace must now be taken to avoid greater consequences.
“If they do not \[make peace], future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier,” Trump declared. He stressed that the current tensions could not continue indefinitely and warned that Iran could face a level of retaliation far worse than what has occurred in the past week. “There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran, far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days,” he said.
The president emphasized that the US military has many other potential targets ready and could strike them with “precision, speed, and skill” in a matter of minutes.
