Tribunal: I Have Full Confidence in Our Judiciary – Governor Monday Okpebholo
Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has expressed full confidence in the judiciary ahead of the upcoming tribunal judgment in Abuja, scheduled for Wednesday. In a message to supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and residents of Edo State, Okpebholo reaffirmed his trust in the judiciary’s ability to deliver a fair and just decision.
“I have full confidence in our judiciary and its ability to deliver a fair and just judgment. I also have faith in the resilience and maturity of our people,” Okpebholo said, encouraging the public to demonstrate their commitment to democracy, peace, and progress.
The governor highlighted the significance of the tribunal’s decision as a vital component of the country’s democratic process and urged respect for its authority. He emphasized that the progress and development of Edo State should remain the priority, warning against allowing political differences to undermine the peace and harmony that have been carefully cultivated.
Okpebholo also called on political leaders, community heads, and citizens to respect the rule of law, uphold peace, and avoid spreading misinformation. He reminded the people of Edo that the state had experienced a vibrant and competitive electoral process, stressing the importance of maintaining order and unity during this critical time.
