Edo Governor Okpebholo Submits Names of Commissioner-Designates for Assembly Confirmation (FULL LIST)
Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has officially submitted the names of six commissioner-designates to the state House of Assembly for confirmation. The names, contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Ikhilor, were sent to the Assembly on Tuesday.
The six individuals nominated for the commissioner positions are Marie Olabisi-Idaomi, Paddy Iyamu, Paul Ohounbamu, Washington Osifo, Lucky Eseigbe, and Andrew Ijegbai.
The letter, titled “Request for the confirmation of commissioners,” reads: “I write at the instance of the Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, to forward for the consideration and confirmation of the Assembly, the underlisted names as Commissioner designates.”
Governor Okpebholo expressed hope for the swift confirmation of the nominees, extending his warm regards to the Assembly.
