“Transactional politician-in-chief” — Tinubu aide Bwala blasts Peter Obi
Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, has criticised former presidential candidate Peter Obi, describing him as a “transactional politician-in-chief.”
In a post shared on his X account, Bwala accused Obi of leading a group of online supporters he portrayed as lacking sound judgment. He stated that Obi is “the political leader of the online trojans whose sense of judgement is covered by delusion,” and attached a video to support his claim.
The remarks prompted a response from Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR), which rejected attempts to link the former candidate to what it called “transactional politics.”
POMR spokesman, Ibrahim Umar, also dismissed Bwala’s allegation that Obi had sought to work with him ahead of the 2023 presidential election, describing the claim as false. He said the group responded to prevent the public from being misled.
