Sunday Igboho reported to have been arrested in Cotonou
Agency reports have it that, Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemi popularly known as Sunday Igboho has been arrested in Cotonou by security forces of Benin Republic.
He was said to have been arrested while trying to flee to Germany.
A sources was reported to have said “He was arrested in Cotonou while he tried to travel out on Monday night. His destination was Germany. The security forces in Benin Republic should repatriate him to Nigeria on Tuesday.”
You would recall that, the Department of State Services (DSS) raided his residence in Ibadan, Oyo state recently, but Igboho was reported to have escaped.
The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) had placed a notice for his arrest across Nigerian borders.
