JUST IN: DSS Arrests Nasir el-Rufai as Court Shifts Bail Ruling to April 14
Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have taken custody of Nasir el-Rufai at the Federal High Court in Kaduna.
The development occurred on Wednesday after proceedings in his bail application. El-Rufai was earlier brought to court by officials of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
The court did not deliver a ruling on the bail request, instead fixing April 14 for a decision.
Following the adjournment, DSS operatives moved in and assumed custody of the former governor within the court premises.
