Spiritually Dangerous to Work Against Tinubu, God Won’t Forgive You – APC Chieftain Warns Nigerian Youths
Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Obidike Chukwuebuka, has declared that it would be both unpatriotic and spiritually dangerous for Nigerian youths to work against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he credited with rekindling hope through bold reforms, youth-focused policies, and inclusive appointments.
Speaking in an interview, Obidike, who also serves as Chairman of Bidiks Nigeria Limited and Clarivo Oil & Gas Limited, said Tinubu has demonstrated “uncommon commitment” to the welfare and future of young Nigerians. He argued that no other leader in recent history has shown greater concern and action for the youth.
“President Tinubu has given young people real hope, not just in words but through concrete policies and appointments. God will not forgive any youth who, out of ignorance or mischief, decides to sabotage this vision,” Obidike stated.
He highlighted the president’s decision to entrust young Nigerians with key leadership positions, naming Minister of Youth Development Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of State for Youth Development Ayodele Olawande, NASENI Executive Vice Chairman Khalil Halilu, FIRS Chairman Zacch Adedeji, and NSIPA National Coordinator Delu Bulus Yakubu as examples. According to him, these are not symbolic appointments but critical roles shaping vital sectors of the economy and governance.
Obidike also pointed to major youth-focused initiatives like the Student Loan Act and the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, which aims to train three million young Nigerians in digital and technology skills by 2027.
Calling on young people to remain patriotic and resist partisan manipulation, he stressed that Tinubu’s leadership style treats youths as leaders in their own right rather than political tools. “President Tinubu deserves the trust of young Nigerians. He is building a future where our generation can lead, thrive, and innovate. Those trying to destroy this effort are enemies of progress. If you sabotage this, you are working against the destiny of our youth and God will not forgive you,” Obidike warned.
