Peter Obi on corruption – There are too many road blocks that are corruption points, for basic Education, UBEC sends money to State Subeb, that sends to LGAs that then sends it to LGAs that sends to schools , in Anambra I asked why the money can’t go to the schools directly? We removed red tapes. This is how to fight corruption.

Peter Obi – Nigeria will survive, lunatics have taken over the asylum for now, what we need to do is to get the lunatics back in the asylum and start doing the proper things.

Peter Obi – I don’t compare Nigeria with America but I will compare with China/Indonesia, I do this because we were better than them years ago. We have to learn from growth.

Peter ObI – 35 Years ago, we had a better service sector and per capita, how did that happen? What happened within that period? If we complain about population, China are bigger, they don’t even have oil.

Peter Obi – No one is saying borrowing is bad, but where are the capital Projects they claim to have done? We borrowed 12trn, Lagos Ibadan needs only 200bn.

Peter Obi – Second Niger bridge is 200bn, Kano -Maiduguri is another 200bn, that’s just 1trn out of the 12trn borrowed, so where is this money?

Peter Obi – In 3 years, we pushed millions into poverty while India pushed millions out of it. Within 2015 till date.

Peter Obi – Our government will move from policy formulation to program implementation.
