“She gave you $50,000 for your election” — Rita Daniels accuses Ned Nwoko of using Regina to boost his image
Rita Daniels, mother of popular actress Regina Daniels, has publicly accused Ned Nwoko of exploiting her daughter’s fame and generosity to advance his political ambitions amid the couple’s ongoing marital crisis.
The dispute, which has dominated social media conversations since October, began after a viral video showed Regina tearfully alleging domestic abuse by her husband. Nwoko responded by claiming the actress was struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
On Monday, tensions escalated further when Regina accused Nwoko of ordering the arrest of her family members, including her brothers.
In a new video shared on her son’s Instagram page, an emotional Rita Daniels accused Nwoko of ingratitude, claiming her family had made significant sacrifices to protect his public image and political aspirations.
Rita alleged that Regina personally contributed $50,000 to Nwoko’s election campaign and said she had also invested her own resources to support his political rise. She dismissed claims that her daughter married for money, insisting that it was Nwoko who benefited from Regina’s popularity.
“You wanted a high star to boost your falling star,” Rita declared. “People are saying money, which money? When you were going for the election, how much did Gina give you? $50,000 — that small girl gave you to support your election. And I also supported you with everything I had.”
