Ned Nwoko: Lagos Police Reportedly Arrest Regina Daniels’ Close Friend; Allegations Cited

Lagos State police have reportedly arrested Ann, a close friend of actress Regina Daniels, following allegations of theft, assault, and conspiracy. The arrest took place on Monday at the Ajah Division, with officers presenting a court order authorizing her detention.

The incident was shared on social media by Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sammy, who expressed skepticism over the police action and the court’s decision. He stated that Ann has never visited the home of Nigerian billionaire and politician Ned Nwoko, Daniels’ estranged husband, raising questions about the basis for the arrest.

“There was no time Ann was ever at Ned’s house. So how is there a court order to detain her for conspiracy, theft, and all? Nigeria has failed us,” Sammy wrote.

Recall that the arrest of Daniels’ relatives and associates began roughly two months ago, following the actress’ public allegations of domestic abuse against Nwoko. The ongoing legal disputes appear to be escalating, with multiple individuals close to Daniels reportedly involved.
