Nigerians on Sunday slammed a former governor of Lagos state, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for comments he made when he paid a condolence visit to the home of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti in Ondo state.
In a video that went viral on social media platforms on Sunday, the self-acclaimed national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said it was wrong to blame the killing of Mrs. Funke Olakunrin on Fulani herdsmen, adding that her murder was destined to happen. That did not go down well with some Nigerians led by a former Aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri and a human rights and pro-democracy activist, Abdul Mahmud who took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction over Tinubu’s remarks.
