LP’s National Secretary, Umar Farouk, addressed the media during a visit to the police facility, expressing the party’s concern and seeking clarification on the circumstances leading to Abure’s arrest.

“I have just arrived from Abuja. When I came in, I learnt that our national chairman had been arrested. We came to the Force Headquarters to find out the reason for his arrest,” Farouk stated.

Accompanied by members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) and distinguished senators, Farouk emphasized their intention to await official clearance.
