Ritualists Murder Lady in Bid to Make N200m in 7 Days

The Ogun State Police Command has dismantled a notorious seven-man gang engaged in the macabre trade of selling human parts for ritualistic purposes.

Police Commissioner Abiodun Olamutu disclosed on Thursday that a human heart and two kegs filled with human bodies were among the horrifying exhibits recovered from the apprehended suspects.

The arrested individuals include Moses Abidemi, Oluwo Monday, Prophet Peter Akiwunmi Ifatosin, Jamiu Yusuf, Sheriff Agbai, and Osojieahen Alioneitoura.

The investigation was triggered by a report of a missing lady, Ms Sulaiimon Adijat, who vanished after being invited on a date by Adebayo Azeez on January 9. Despite efforts to locate her, her phone remained switched off.

Commissioner Olamutu stated that the Anti-Kidnapping Unit launched a technical-based investigation, uncovering the suspects’ involvement in a money ritual known as ‘Oshole’ with the aim of generating N200 million within seven days.

Oluwo Monday allegedly charged Agbai and Alioneitoura N800,000 to prepare the materials for the ritual. To fulfill this dark quest, Oluwo Monday enlisted the help of Peter, an individual experienced in the gruesome trade of human parts, to source a lady between 18 and 20 years old.

Sheriff and Osojieahen collected the ritual money on January 10 and traveled to their location in Edo State. Trouble ensued when Osojieahen, following Oluwo’s instructions, used the ritual elements but failed to achieve the expected 200 million within the stipulated seven days.

Upon conducting a search at Moses’s shrine on February 3 and 10, law enforcement discovered female handbags and two cement sacks containing human bones, exposing the horrific nature of the criminal enterprise.

The arrest of these individuals serves as a crucial step in dismantling the network involved in heinous crimes and highlights the persistent efforts of the Ogun State Police Command in ensuring the safety and security of its residents.
