Renovation Resumes at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu: Completion Expected Soon
Renovation efforts at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Stadium in Enugu, the beloved home ground of the Nigeria Premier Football League side, Rangers, have once again sprung to life, according to a report by Daily Post. This revitalization marks a significant step forward in restoring the stadium to its former glory, with materials for the renovation already making their way to the site.
Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, the General Manager of the Flying Antelopes, couldn’t contain his excitement as work resumed on the stadium that had been under renovation for over two years. This development has rekindled hopes of a swift and successful completion.
The construction firm overseeing the project has provided assurances that the renovation work will conclude as planned in November. This will undoubtedly be a cause for celebration, not only for Rangers but for the sports community in Enugu and beyond.
As the stadium undergoes its much-needed facelift, Rangers currently call the Awka City Stadium in Anambra home for their matches. Fans and players alike eagerly anticipate the return of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium to its former glory as a hub of Nigerian football. Stay tuned for further updates on this promising revival.
