“Re-elect Tinubu, Get More Federal Projects” – Ganduje, Kalu Urge South East

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have called on the South East to rally behind President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election, assuring that greater federal presence and development projects would follow a strong show of support.

Speaking on Sunday in Bende, Abia State, during the inauguration of the *Renewed Hope Partners* by Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje emphasized the importance of political alignment with the presidency. Represented by the party’s South East Zonal Chairman, Emma Enukwu, Ganduje urged the region to deliver 99 per cent of its votes to Tinubu in the next election.

“You can see that all the governors of South South are collapsing into APC. Come, let us join hands to make sure that 99 per cent of the votes cast in the South East are for Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu,” he said.

Ganduje maintained that re-electing President Tinubu would position the South East to benefit from increased federal projects and greater economic development.

Echoing this message, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu highlighted Tinubu’s appointments and infrastructure efforts in the region as evidence of his commitment to the South East. He noted that despite receiving low support in 2023, the President has made inclusive moves, such as appointing an Igbo man as Chief of Naval Staff and granting the region influence over key sectors like oil and gas and waterways.

Kalu assured that if the South East votes en masse for Tinubu in 2027, the region would witness even more federal initiatives and development under his administration.
