I Have Not Seen Anyone with the Guts to Sack Me from PDP – Wike Boasts
Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has dismissed calls for his expulsion from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), insisting that no individual has the authority or credibility to remove him from the party.
Speaking during a media parley in Abuja on Monday, Wike maintained that he remains a committed member of the PDP and challenged his critics to match his contributions to the party.
“I am still in the PDP. I worked hard for this party,” Wike stated. “I have not seen anybody who will have the guts to tell me, ‘Wike, you are not a member of the party.’ Who is that? What has he contributed to the party more than me?”
The minister’s comments come amid growing tensions within the PDP over his perceived alignment with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and his role in President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
