“Put Our Differences Aside and Work Together” – Peter Obi Urges Labour Party Members
In a call for unity amidst ongoing internal conflicts, former presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi, has urged party members to set aside their differences and work together.
On Friday, Obi took to his X handle to emphasize the importance of harmony within the party. He expressed optimism that through open communication, empathy, and a collective willingness to listen, the Labour Party could overcome its current challenges.
“We will successfully resolve our differences and emerge stronger and more united than ever. Our strength lies in greater unity for our common national good,” Obi stated.
He reiterated his earlier appeal for party members to focus on a shared sense of purpose and vision, highlighting that such collaboration is essential for the party’s success and the nation’s progress.
Obi’s call for unity comes at a crucial time, as the Labour Party navigates through internal disputes that threaten its cohesion.
