Poly Student Shot During Herdsmen Attack in Plateau Dies
A student of Plateau State Polytechnic, identified as Priscilla, has died from injuries she sustained during a gunmen attack in Heipang community, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The attack occurred on April 1, 2026, when armed assailants reportedly invaded the community and opened fire on residents.
Another student, Gloria, was killed during the attack, while several others, including Priscilla, were injured.
Priscilla had been receiving treatment since the incident but died from her injuries on Thursday, April 23.
Her death has sparked grief among friends and colleagues, with many taking to Facebook to mourn her and pay tribute.
