Peter Obi’s Name On NYSC, UNN Certificates Different – Arabambi, NPS Apapa-led LP Faction
In a recent interview on AIT, the National Publicity Secretary of the Lamidi Apapa-led faction of the Labour Party (LP), Abayomi Arabambi, has raised concerns about a potential inconsistency in the academic credentials of the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi.
Arabambi disclosed that he was one of the individuals involved in screening Peter Obi prior to the presidential primary of the Labour Party. He highlighted a discrepancy between the name listed on Obi’s academic certificate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and the name on his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.
“In the form EC9, we gave him, he wrote that he attended the University of Nigeria Nsukka and he wrote that he finished his youth service but unfortunately, in the final submission of the form he only submitted his school certificate,” Arabambi stated.
Arabambi further emphasized the discrepancy, stating that the name used for mobilization by the university did not match the name on Peter Obi’s NYSC certificate. He questioned the transparency of these discrepancies and expressed uncertainty about Peter Obi’s true identity.
Arabambi also referenced a petition before the Supreme Court involving Peter Obi, where he claimed that crucial information was missing. He questioned the motive behind calling out others to reveal their identities and urged for transparency in the matter.
