“Peter Obi Can Never Beat Tinubu, Even With Free and Fair Election” – Geh Geh
Social media commentator Emmanuel Obruste, widely known as Geh Geh, has said that Peter Obi would not be able to defeat Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, even if the process is conducted under free and fair conditions.
In a video that has generated debate across social media platforms, Geh Geh argued that Obi’s political coordination remains weak ahead of the next general election cycle.
He acknowledged that Obi is frequently described by supporters as a leader with clear ideas for governance. However, he questioned whether those ideas are backed by the organisational capacity required to win a nationwide contest.
According to him, the absence of a clearly defined political structure could hinder any serious bid for the presidency in 2027. He said many voters are still unsure about Obi’s current party alignment and the strength of his grassroots network across the country.
Geh Geh stated that clarity on party structure, mobilisation strategy and national reach would be critical factors in determining the viability of any challenge to Tinubu’s re-election bid.
“Peter Obi can never beat Tinubu and I’ll give four reasons. Number one, he does not have structure. Peter Obi does not have structure. He is a leader with vision but does not have a clear path to achieve that vision. Many people still do not know the political party he belongs to,” he said.
