Ned Nwoko, a Lawyer, a billionaire business man and husband of Nigerian actress, Regina Daniels has said that although the Labour Party, Presidential candidate, Peter Obi has the massive support of the youths, particularly on social media, he wouldn’t be able to achieve victory because Labour Party does not have the required structure to rule Nigeria.
Ned Nwoko revealed this during an interview with BBC, he stated that though Peter Obi is a good man and an economic strategist who has the capacity to play a significant role in the government, he is greatly disadvantaged.
While speaking further, Ned described Obi as a capitalist, and will do well if he is handed any ministry pertaining to economy.
He stated that “the population of Nigeria is on the rise and the Labour Party is incapable of handling the issues of the country.”
He however, called on Nigerians not to allow tribe or religion influence their choice of candidates rather they should be concerned about picking the right person to salvage the nation from where the doldrums.
He reiterated that Peter Obi shouldn’t have dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He however still wishes Peter Obi could come back to the party
