Delta Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council has declared Tuesday the PDP Day in Delta State as the national rally of the party holds that day in Asaba.
Speaking at a press conference in Asaba, the PDP state Director of Campaign Council, Mr. Fukekeme Solomon, said the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, the national chairman, and other national leaders will lead the campaign, tagged “Mother of Rallies.”
He said: “It is important for us to inform the generality of Deltans and persons living in the state that on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, leaders of the party will hit Delta State for campaign in the main bowl of Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
“The PDP campaign council has already mobilised for it and all efforts have gone ahead to get members and supporters of the party to be in attendance at the rally that promises to be the Mother of all rallies.”
Ahead of the rally, Solomon urged Nigerians to vote for the PDP, saying: “Only the party can rescue this country and reset it on the path of abundance, stability and prosperity.”

Solomon described Oborevwori, who is also the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, as a grassroots politician, who dwells with the people and knows where their shoes pinch them.
