The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has taken immediate action following the death of Master Monday Arijo, an SS2 student of Obada Grammar School in Obada, Idi-emi. The Ministry confirmed the suspension of a teacher accused of administering corporal punishment, which allegedly led to Arijo’s tragic death.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Friday when the teacher allegedly inflicted severe punishment on the student, resulting in fatal consequences.
