Obi had disclosed last weekend that he was suspending activities within and outside Nigeria following an illness during a tourism event in Enugu, where he was treated in hospital and advised to rest for at least two days.

On Monday, the former Anambra governor announced his return with a visit to Maison de Helen (MDH), a luxury fashion brand in Lagos founded by designer Helen Unuane. Obi is among the presidential hopefuls under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
