“Ned Nwoko Isn’t the Father of My Child” – Chika Ike Denies Rumours

Actress Chika Ike has publicly denied the rumours linking businessman and politician Ned Nwoko to the paternity of her child. In a statement shared on Instagram, Ike dismissed the speculation, stating unequivocally that Nwoko is not the father of her unborn child.

Expressing her frustration over persistent rumours about her personal life, the actress emphasised her desire for privacy. She noted that she only shares personal information on her own terms and does not feel the need to clarify every false claim made about her.

Ike, who recently announced her pregnancy, made it clear that she would not entertain any further speculation regarding the identity of her child’s father. In her statement, she declared, “There have been all sorts of lies paddled about me in the media for years, but I always treated them like what they are – rumours that needed no response. But this is different; this is about my child.”

She further refuted claims that she was set to become Nwoko’s seventh wife, stating, “Polygamy isn’t for me. I’ve been pregnant for months now, and no one had a clue until I announced it. And you think you’ll know who the father of my child is or anything happening in my life? Very laughable and clueless!”

Reaffirming her commitment to maintaining her privacy, Ike stated that she is unbothered by rumours but chose to respond only because the speculation involved her child.
