“Ned is obsessed with virginity, Regina is obsessed with wealth” — Catholic priest weighs in on Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels’ marriage crisis

A Catholic priest, Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, has shared his thoughts on the alleged crisis in the marriage between billionaire politician Ned Nwoko and actress Regina Daniels, accusing both of being driven by greed and selfish desires.

Reacting in a Facebook post, Fr. Ugwu said Ned was obsessed with marrying a virgin, while Regina was focused on securing wealth. According to him, both parties entered into their relationship purely to satisfy their individual wants — Ned seeking purity, and Regina seeking luxury.

The priest remarked that their union was not founded on love or genuine companionship but on transactional motives. He described their relationship as a “contract” where each got exactly what they desired — Ned got his virgin bride, and Regina got her luxury lifestyle.

Fr. Ugwu wrote that neither of them has any moral ground to complain now, as they are simply reaping the results of their choices. He added that their situation is not a marriage but an arrangement born out of greed and self-interest.

In his words, “Ned and Gina used the term ‘marriage’ to define what they shared. But if we are to be critical, bearing in mind what marriage ought to be, it is an abuse of the word.”
