N180m Not Missing from NGO Account, It Was All Planned – Verydarkman
Popular social critic Martins Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, has clarified that no funds were missing from his NGO’s account. Speaking in a video shared on Tuesday, the outspoken advocate expressed disappointment in Nigerians for readily believing the story without proper verification and for hurling insults at him and his family.
He stated, “No money is missing, my money is secured. The way people are so excited about bad is really sad. I told my website guy, shut the website, let us use this people catch cruise. Nobody bothered to ask for evidence. They just went with what is being said. I am so happy I did this.”
Last Friday, Verydarkman had taken to Instagram to raise alarm about a supposed hacking of his organisation’s account, claiming N180 million had been stolen.
