Popular socialite and businessman Cubana Chiefpriest has pledged to secure the release of embattled singer Speed Darlington, popularly known as Akpi, who has been held in police custody since November 2024. Chiefpriest made this promise on January 6, declaring, “Make we now show power,” as he rallied support to end the singer’s prolonged detention.

Speed Darlington was rearrested last year for allegedly violating bail conditions in a case tied to superstar Burna Boy. The feud began after Speed Darlington suggested Burna Boy’s 2021 Grammy win was influenced by his relationship with American artist Diddy, prompting Burna Boy to file a petition.

“Make we now show power,” Chiefpriest declared in his post, signaling a determined push to secure justice.
