“APC is taking care of me” — Cubana Chief Priest declares support for APC at Abuja convention
Socialite Cubana Chief Priest has publicly declared support for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that the party “is taking care of me.”
He made the remark during the APC National Convention held in Abuja, where he appeared alongside members of the City Boy Movement, a youth-focused political group associated with Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu.
The City Boy Movement is positioned as a platform to mobilize young Nigerians in support of the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda. Chief Priest’s participation comes amid growing visibility for the group, with business figures such as Obi Cubana also linked to its activities.
In a further sign of his political engagement, Cubana Chief Priest was recently named Imo State Director of the movement, a role that underscores his expanding presence in political circles.
Addressing supporters, he issued a direct message to critics and undecided observers, framing the group’s outlook toward the next election cycle: “It’s either you win with us or you watch us win,” he said, in reference to President Tinubu’s potential 2027 re-election bid.
