Embattled suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has been released from detention.
Magu who was arrested last week spent 9 days in detention at the FCID.
His lawyer, Tosin Ojaomo, had written the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, seeking his release. Adamu in his response on Wednesday denied detaining him. He said he was detained by the presidential panel probing his activities as the chairman of the anti graft agency.
