The Lagos State Police Command has brought the curtains down on the escapades of none other than the vibrant musician, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable. Why? Well, it seems Portable’s jam session hit a sour note when he neglected to cough up the cash for a flashy G-Wagon he’d scooped up from a local dealer.

Sources spill the tea, revealing that while Portable pumped N13 million into the car deal jukebox, he flat-out refused to drop the remaining N14 million on the counter, insisting the wheels weren’t spinning smoothly.

With the car dealer’s patience running on empty, they called in the law-enforcement DJ squad, who swiftly spun into action, nabbing Portable on the dance floor of unpaid dues.

Confirming the arrest with a groove-worthy quote, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said, “Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought a G-Wagon for N27 million, dropped N13 million, and then dropped the beat, refusing to pay the rest, claiming the ride was off-key. We had to drop the bass and arrest him today.”
