JUST IN: Tinubu Appoints Ewalefoh as ICRC Director-General

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named Mr. Jobson Ewalefoh as the new Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC). The appointment was officially announced by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, on Saturday.

Ewalefoh, a distinguished professional with a robust background in government and development sectors, brings extensive expertise in public-private partnerships, public policy reform, and development. His appointment is pending Senate confirmation.

President Tinubu has tasked Ewalefoh with demonstrating unwavering dedication and integrity in his new role. He is expected to drive the strategic objective of the ICRC, which focuses on mobilizing private-sector investment to boost national infrastructure development.

“President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Jobson Ewalefoh as the new Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC),” the statement reads. “Mr. Ewalefoh is a professional with years of experience in government and development organizations, in addition to expertise in public-private partnerships, public policy reform, and development.

“The appointment is subject to the confirmation of the Nigerian Senate. The President expects absolute dedication and probity in the management of the ICRC and in pursuit of its strategic objective of accelerating investment in national infrastructure through the innovative mobilization of private-sector funding,” the statement concludes.
