JUST IN: President Tinubu Appoints Board Chairmen for NTA, Automotive Council, 21 Other Federal Institutions ( Full List)

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as Board Chairman of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). Additionally, Hon. Fatuhu Mohammed Buhari from Katsina State has been named the Director-General of the National Agricultural Seed Council.

In a series of new appointments, President Tinubu also assigned board chairmanship positions to several individuals across various federal government institutions. The appointees include Mallam Muhammad Massan, APC State Chairman of Bauchi State, as Board Chairman of the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, Ilorin; Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, APC State Chairman of Kano State, as Board Chairman of the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service; and Dr. Austian Agada, APC State Chairman of Benue State, as Board Chairman of the National Agricultural Seed Council.

Other appointments include Hon. Macdonald Ebere, APC State Chairman of Imo State, as Board Chairman of the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Lagos; Ubong Stephen Ntukekpo, APC State Chairman of Akwa Ibom State, as Board Chairman of the National Institute for Freshwater Fish, New Bussa; and Chief Emma Eneukwu, Deputy Chairman (South) of the APC, as Board Chairman of the National Automotive Development Council.

Aminu Musa Bobi, APC State Chairman of Niger State, will chair the National Library of Nigeria, while Pharm. Abass Olayide, APC State Chairman of Oyo State, will head the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Kaduna. Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, APC State Chairman of Yobe State, has been appointed Board Chairman of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, and Benjamin Omale, APC State Chairman of Benue State, will lead the National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu.

Rufus Bature, APC State Chairman of Plateau State, has been appointed Board Chairman of the Nigerian Coal Corporation, while Alhaji Abubakar Muhammed Kana, APC State Chairman of Kebbi State, will head the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies. Hon. Donatus Nwankpa, APC National Working Committee Member from Abia State, has been named Board Chairman of the Project Development Institute (PRODA), and Comrade Mustapha Salihu, APC State Chairman of Adamawa State, will lead the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, APC State Chairman of Abia State, has been appointed Board Chairman of the National Parks Headquarters. Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman, APC State Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory, will chair the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan, while Hon. Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi, APC State Chairman of Taraba State, has been named Board Chairman of the Environmental Health Registration Council of Nigeria.

Sola Elesin, APC State Chairman of Ekiti State, has been appointed Board Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Mining and Geosciences, and Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, APC State Chairman of Edo State, will head the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure. Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani, APC State Chairman of Zamfara State, will chair the Federal Medical Centre, Azare, while Hon. Aminu Sani Gumel, APC State Chairman of Jigawa State, has been appointed Board Chairman of the Federal College of Produce Inspection and Stored Products Technology, Kano.

Barr. Idris Shuaibu, APC State Chairman of Adamawa State, has been named Board Chairman of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan. These appointments reflect President Tinubu’s commitment to filling leadership positions with individuals aligned with the administration’s goals for governance and development.
