JUST IN: Oyo High Court Affirms Validity of Peoples Democratic Party 2025 Convention in Ibadan
An Oyo State High Court in Ibadan has affirmed the validity of the 2025 national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), held on November 15 and 16 in the Oyo State capital.
Justice Ladiran Akintola of Court 5 delivered the ruling on Friday after addressing an application for joinder and dismissing an application for stay of proceedings filed by Nwachukwu and other parties.
In the judgment, the court upheld all 13 reliefs sought by the claimant, Folahan Malomo Adelabi, through his counsel, Musbau Adetunmbi.
The decision confirms the legitimacy of the National Working Committee led by Dr. Taminu Turaki, which emerged from the convention.
