JUST IN: Napoli, Al Ahli Agree on €80m Transfer Fee for Victor Osimhen, Striker Set to Sign £646,000-a-Week Contract
Napoli has agreed to transfer their star striker, Victor Osimhen, to Al Ahli in a deal valued at up to €80 million. This significant move sees the Nigerian forward poised to join the Saudi Arabian club on a lucrative four-year contract.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the agreement, noting that the “club-to-club deal is done for a €75/80m total package.” Osimhen’s contract will reportedly be worth £33.6 million (€40 million) per season, equating to an astonishing £646,000 per week, all tax-free. Additionally, a release clause will be included in his contract.
Al Ahli has already arranged for Osimhen to undergo a medical examination, signaling their commitment to finalize the transfer swiftly. The move is expected to see Osimhen turn down a potential transfer to Chelsea, further solidifying Al Ahli’s status in the football market.
Romano shared on X (formerly Twitter): “BREAKING: Napoli reach total agreement with Al Ahli for Victor Osimhen! Club to club deal done for €75/80m total package, Al Ahli have already booked a medical. Four-year contract worth €25/30m per season net to Osimhen + RELEASE clause. Final green light up to Victor.”
This transfer marks another high-profile acquisition for the Saudi Pro League as they continue to attract top talent from Europe.
