JUST IN: Nabeeha Al-Kadriyah’s Siblings Freed from Kidnappers’ Clutches

The four remaining siblings of the late Nabeeha Al-Kadriyah have been successfully liberated from the grips of their kidnappers.

Recalling the harrowing incident, the sisters and their father were abducted in the Zuma 1 area of Bwari Area Council on January 2nd. While the father was initially released to secure a ransom, the tragic demise of Nabeeha occurred when the family failed to meet the kidnappers’ demands within a specified deadline.

Following Nabeeha’s untimely death, the ransom escalated from N60 million to N100 million, accompanied by a menacing threat to harm the remaining sisters. This alarming situation prompted an outpouring of sympathy from concerned Nigerians, who rallied to support and prevent further tragedy.

In a reassuring statement, Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Federal Capital Territory Police, confirmed the successful rescue on Sunday morning. Despite indications that the hefty ransom may have been paid, Adeh emphasized that the FCT Anti-Kidnapping squad, in collaboration with Nigerian Army troops, played a pivotal role in liberating the victims.

The daring rescue operation unfolded around Kajuru forest in Kaduna State late on Saturday night, marking a significant victory against the criminal elements responsible for the siblings’ abduction.
