JUST IN: Ibom Air Passenger Released From Kirikiri After Case Withdrawal
Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger accused of unruly behaviour during a flight from Uyo to Lagos, has been released from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
Emmanson had been arraigned and remanded following allegations that she disrupted peace on board and assaulted a crew member during the Sunday flight. Her release on Wednesday came after the case against her was formally withdrawn in court.
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, confirmed the development, telling Channels Television in a brief message, “Emmanson has gone home from the court. I can confirm that.”
