Video: Ibom Air Passenger Comfort Emmanson Breaks Silence, Narrates Her Side of the Story

Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger who trended online last week following a heated altercation with a flight attendant, has spoken publicly about her side of the story.

In a video shared on social media, Emmanson accused the flight attendant, identified as Juliana, of provoking her during the Uyo-to-Lagos flight. She explained that the dispute began when she struggled to turn off her mobile phone as instructed. According to her, Juliana became irritated and allegedly remarked, “You will see.”

Emmanson claimed that after the flight landed, she was deliberately stopped from disembarking while other passengers exited the aircraft. She alleged that the confrontation escalated when Juliana noticed she was recording the incident. The flight attendant, Emmanson said, forcibly removed her wig, yanked off her gold chain, and insulted her, calling her a “prostitute.” In the struggle, her phone reportedly fell and the screen was shattered.

The realtor admitted that her reaction, seen in the viral video, was fueled by pain and humiliation. “God knows I can never poke an elderly woman, someone old enough to be my mother,” she said. “It was the pain of dragging my wig and chain, and the insult that pushed me. I only asked her, ‘Why did you do that?’ That was why I poked her.”

She further alleged that airport security later stormed the plane, dragged her out, and tore her top in the process. Emmanson claimed the officials filmed her and attempted to touch her body, leaving her exposed and vulnerable.

The realtor said she has been left deeply traumatized, stressing that the circulation of videos showing her in a distressed state has made the ordeal even more painful.
