JUST IN: Court Verifies Authenticity of Enugu Governor Peter Mbah’s NYSC Certificate
Justice Nyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja delivered a verdict on Monday, confirming the authenticity of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Discharge Certificate belonging to Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah.
The ruling came as part of a lawsuit initiated by Governor Mbah against the NYSC, where he sought a substantial N20 billion in damages. Justice Ekwo, in his judgment, left no room for doubt, stating that Governor Mbah’s Discharge Certificate was undeniably issued by the National Youth Service Corps.
Consequently, the court has ordered the defendants in this case to pay N5 million in damages.
