JUST IN: CDCFIB Extends Paramilitary Recruitment Deadline
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has extended the closing date for applications into the paramilitary services by one week, moving the deadline from Monday, August 4 to Monday, August 11, 2025.
In a statement issued on August 3, the Board said the extension is aimed at giving more applicants the opportunity to complete their submissions. “This extension is geared towards providing additional opportunity for applicants willing to be enlisted into any of the paramilitary services,” said A.M. Jibril, Secretary to the Board.
The CDCFIB also reminded applicants to use only the official portal at [https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng](https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng), warning against fraudulent platforms. It reiterated that the application process remains entirely free of charge.
“The Board wishes to reiterate that its recruitment process is free of charge as well as remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process,” Jibril added.
