It is Time to Support President Tinubu, Gov Sule Tells Obi
In a recent meeting between Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State and former Presidential Candidate Peter Obi, Sule advocated for Obi’s support towards President Bola Tinubu’s administration. The call for unity and collaboration came during Obi’s visit to Lafia on Monday.
Highlighting the importance of collective efforts in steering the nation forward, Governor Sule emphasized that Tinubu requires the backing of all Nigerians, irrespective of political affiliations. He urged Obi, acknowledging his experience and capabilities, to contribute to the country’s development by supporting the incumbent president discreetly.
Sule stressed that addressing the multifaceted challenges facing Nigeria demands concerted efforts from both government and citizens. He commended Obi for his humanitarian efforts, particularly in providing boreholes to communities in Nasarawa State, which complemented the government’s initiatives in improving people’s lives.
In response, Peter Obi expressed his commitment to national progress, citing his nonpartisan stance and desire to witness positive transformations in Nigeria. He commended Governor Sule for infrastructural development in the state, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging and applauding commendable actions in politics.
