“If You Don’t Stop, I’ll Leak Your Video” — Doris Ogala Warns Akpororo

The dispute between actress Doris Ogala and Pastor Chris Okafor has escalated to include stand-up comedian Jephthah “Akpororo” Bowoto, as Ogala threatens to release a video alleging past sexual misconduct by the comedian.

The conflict reignited on Sunday after Akpororo advised Ogala, in an Instagram video, to settle her differences with Pastor Okafor privately. He argued that public criticism of Okafor stems from his status as a clergyman and claimed Ogala mishandled the issue by leveraging it against the pastor.

“I have been following this incident since last year. The criticism is largely because Okafor is a pastor. If it were an ordinary man, you would have been the target,” Akpororo said, also urging Ogala to remove the matter from social media.

Ogala responded on Monday, dismissing his advice and questioning his credibility. She alleged that Akpororo’s perspective was influenced by financial ties to the pastor and warned that she would make public a video of his alleged past sexual misconduct if he continued to interfere.

“You do not know these people, but I do. If you don’t stop, I will leak your video where women accused you of sexual misconduct,” Ogala said in an Instagram video.

The conflict between Ogala and Pastor Okafor stems from a nine-year relationship during which Ogala claimed Okafor failed to honor a promise of marriage. She issued a legal notice seeking N1 billion in damages, citing emotional and reputational harm.

Ogala was arrested in Abuja on December 20, 2025, and released two days later in Lagos after interventions by social media influencer Martins Otse and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore. Pastor Okafor later apologized publicly but faced new allegations from his ex-wife, leading him to step aside from ministerial duties for one month.

The Lagos State Police Command is currently investigating multiple allegations against Pastor Okafor at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti.
