Nollywood Actress Sarah Martins Hospitalised After Collapse
Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has been admitted to hospital following a sudden health emergency that led to her collapse.
Martins disclosed the incident on Instagram, explaining that she woke up unable to feel parts of her body and briefly feared something was seriously wrong. Despite her condition, she said she went ahead with plans to visit her shop to take inventory and interview prospective staff. She reportedly collapsed during the process and was rushed to the hospital.
According to the actress, doctors carried out more than 30 medical tests, including screenings for cancer, fibroid, kidney and liver function, malaria and typhoid. All results were negative.
Martins attributed the episode to severe exhaustion, stating that she worked continuously throughout December without taking any breaks.
She noted that even when her staff travelled for the festive period, she continued working daily, neglecting rest and recovery. Medical professionals reportedly advised her to remain on bed rest, describing her condition as extreme exhaustion.
While receiving treatment, the actress expressed confidence in her recovery and gratitude for her life, adding that doctors confirmed there was no underlying illness. She remains under medical observation as she recuperates.
