“I Will Teach You What Jezebel Can Do,” Doris Ogala Fires at Pastor Chris Okafor
Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has openly challenged cleric Chris Okafor after he retracted an earlier apology she had received regarding the end of their past relationship. The dispute has reignited tensions between the two, drawing attention from both fans and the media.
The controversy began when Okafor, who had previously apologized for ending their relationship to marry another woman, withdrew that apology. In the process, he referred to Ogala as “Jezebel,” a term that has provoked strong backlash from the actress.
In a video statement, Ogala spoke directly to the pastor, saying, *“Chris, maybe you think this thing is a joke. Do you think I care about your apology? I said you will crawl and apologize to me, you think I’m joking. That one you kneel down to do at your church is not enough. I said you will crawl, you will lay down and crawl on the floor and beg me. You call me Jezebel, I will teach you what Jezebel do.”*
She accused the pastor of allowing pride to influence his decision to retract the apology. *“Earlier, you admitted in a court paper that we actually dated. I’m glad that God is actually exposing you. I want you guys to see the pastor who preaches in the church. A pastor who came out and apologized. Pride got into him again, and he came back to say he’s not sorry, he’s not apologetic,”* she added.
Ogala emphasized that her demand for a public apology is not just about words. She intends to hold Okafor accountable and ensure that his recognition of wrongdoing is visible to the public. She also warned that she plans to respond forcefully to being labeled “Jezebel,” underscoring her determination to defend her reputation.
This latest development is part of an ongoing public dispute between Ogala and Okafor, with both parties making statements and counter-statements in the media over the past weeks. Ogala has also previously criticized other pastors in Nigeria for betrayal, highlighting a pattern of contentious interactions between religious figures and public personalities.
